Your Trusted Project Partner
Londonderry still has working apple orchards and open fields, and a backyard that is mostly plain lawn is a great starting point for something better. Mountainscapes designs the pool, patio, planting and lighting as one plan for Londonderry homeowners, from the Route 102 side of town to the streets near the Derry and Windham lines. We prepare what the town building department needs, coordinate every trade and build it with our own crew. Small jobs, like a new liner or a patio that has settled out of level, are just as welcome.
A new pool changes how the rest of the yard works: where people walk, where shade falls, where rain runs after a summer storm. We draw the patio, plantings and screening in the same plan, so neighbors see evergreens instead of a pool fence and the lawn only gets disturbed once.
Excavation, utilities and pool construction on open Londonderry lots, with truck access and soil removal planned before day one.
Shapes, depths, entry steps and tanning ledges laid out to fit your house, your sun and how your kids actually swim.
One-piece shells set by crane, a good match for open yards where a large delivery truck can get close to the hole.
Paver, natural stone or concrete surfaces around the pool, pitched so rain and splash water drain away from the coping.
Bluestone, paver or concrete patios sized for a table, a grill and room to move, set on a solid compacted base.
A budget-friendly way to green up big bare areas after construction, sprayed on as a slurry of seed, mulch and water.
Evergreen screens and layered shrub beds that block sight lines from neighboring yards and soften a new pool fence.
Low-voltage path, step and accent lights so the patio and pool area stay usable long after sunset.
It only takes 30 seconds.

Chris installed a beautiful gunite pool for me. My kids love it and they cherish the day it gets opened. Chris did an amazing job designing the layout. He is a true artisan. I’ve been in business for 37 years and I’ve been around countless contractors. I highly recommend Mountainscapes.
I had the need for an emergency skimmer replacement during a pool deck replacement. Mountainscapes was the only company that got back to me and came right out and fixed things up to keep my project on schedule. Chris and his team were top notch. Highly recommended.
I have engaged Chris and his team on a number of landscape projects over the years. The pricing is good, the end result gorgeous, and Chris is always a pleasure to work with.
My experience having a pool installed was a great one! The owner Chris, worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. The team was friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend them!
Working with Chris and his team from MountainScapes was truly a pleasure building our pool this past year. Chris was a huge help working with the town on permitting and approvals (our town is notoriously difficult) and in helping us make our design dreams a reality.
...Today, one year post-completion, we are thrilled with the quality of MountainScapes' work. Chris, in particular, is something of a pool artist. It was truly worth it, but as homeowners you need to be prepared to be patient!
If you are considering an inground pool or any type of hardscape to your property, I would not recommend anyone other than Mountainscapes! Responsiveness, quality, professionalism!

Can you build an inground pool on my Londonderry lot?
Most likely. Before designing anything we look at slope, soil, room for equipment, the septic system or sewer connection, and setbacks from property lines. Open, fairly level yards make for a simpler build, but sloped lots work too with some grading or a retaining wall. Our pool construction page explains the full process from design to startup.
What does a pool with landscaping cost in Londonderry?
Every yard is different, so pricing follows the design. As a guide, most of our full pool and landscape projects range from $50,000 to $150,000, depending on pool type, size, decking and how much planting and lighting goes in. A liner swap, patio repair or drainage fix costs much less. Our pool cost guide breaks down the main factors.
Which permits does a Londonderry pool need?
The town issues the building permit, and the pool has to meet the barrier and fencing rules in the New Hampshire state building code. Pool wiring is done by a licensed electrician. If the work comes near wetlands or protected shoreland, state permits from NHDES may apply as well, and we call Dig Safe before any digging.
Do you landscape newer homes with bare yards?
Yes. We can take a yard from bare soil to a finished landscape: grading, a new lawn, planting beds, a patio and lighting. You can do it all at once or in phases, starting with grading and drainage so later work sits on solid, well-drained ground.
Will trees screen my pool from the neighbors?
Evergreens such as arborvitae and spruce make good screens, and a mix of heights looks more natural than a single straight row. We plan for mature size so the screen fills in without crowding the pool fence or shading the water all afternoon. See our tree and shrub planting page for plant choices.
From initial planning and design to engineering, permitting, and construction, we manage every stage of your pool and landscape project with precision and care.
